EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY: ICT as Platform of Change The implication of media and information to an individual could swing both ways of good and bad. Nowadays, some people on the internet trolls and spread fake news which is a false information yet some could take it as a true information making them vulnerable of the truth. On the contrary, media and information could also make one knowledgeable if he/she reads in a safe source. Aside from this things for our latest lesson in empowerment technology I also learned that ICT played a great role in our history. Before, there was mails and messengers sent in order to deliver messages and takes no less than a day to receive, but because of televisions and computers they can send message to everyone at the same time. I've also learned that without ICT some historical events might not had happen if they didn't get the message.
